A Benefit for our Sister, Wendy – A Nurse’s Toughest Challenge

Brian’s sister Wendy (Bullard) Hinkle is undergoing the fight of her life. She was recently diagnosed with stage four Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and has a long road to recovery. Doctors have ultimately pulled her out of work, which is her only source of income.
Wendy is not only a single mother to three, but a grandmother to four beautiful grandchildren, a loving sister, daughter, and a dedicated nurse for over 30 years. She is the most hardworking, compassionate, and selfless person you will ever meet, and the sole provider in her household. As you can imagine, the medical and living expenses are adding up quickly, and there is no other source of income for Wendy.
To support Wendy in the fight of her life, ONCO, along with Brian’s family, are hosting a benefit on January 12 from 2-5pm to help raise funds for her mounting medical and living expenses. The benefit will be located at ONCO, 397 Rt 281, Tully, NY 13159.
The day’s activities will include raffle baskets and 50/50 drawings (so bring cash for those!), a silent auction, and entertainment by Molly & The Ringwalds. Food and beverage will be available for purchase through ONCO and a portion of the proceeds from the day’s sales at ONCO will be donated to Wendy.
We are currently in need of donations for raffle baskets and silent auction items from our local businesses and patrons. If interested in donating, please reach out to us!
