ONCO Fermentations is a growing family friendly brewery in the Town of Tully, located in Southern Onondaga County. We are currently seeking a friendly & outgoing individual to join our team. Our first priority is to fill a role of taproom server, but we are also looking for help in the brewery (cellar, packaging) and kitchen.
Experience preferred but will train the right individual(s).
The taproom position is responsible for ensuring that customers have a positive and memorable experience. The candidate must have a passion for Craft Beer and for learning the details of the beers we produce as well as being a key asset to our general business operations and vision. Strong math skills, reliable transportation, attention to detail, punctuality and ability to adapt to an ever evolving experience at ONCO required.
Successful Taproom Candidates will receive $11/hour starting pay, plus tips. Tips are pooled with other tasting room staff only, and only during shared shifts. Additional pay rates for cellar/kitchen duties DOE.
Over the age of 21 is required for this position
Able to be responsive and work a flexible schedule that involves 2-3 shifts Thursday-Sunday including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Occasional mid week shifts available depending on holiday season and what we have going on.
Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for up to 8 hours a day and be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Candidate preferred to be TIPS certified or ONCO will provide training to become TIPS Certified
