ONCO’s 2023 Vintage Saison Blend One Wins 2nd Gold!
๐ฅWe were honored to be awarded our ๐ฌ๐๐๐จ๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ข๐ฌ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ in this year’s New York State Craft Beer Competition! This medal joins awards we’ve received for styles across the gamut, including:
- 2024: Gold: Saison Blend One, Bronze: Kettle Lakes Coconut Cream Ale
- 2023: Gold: Hyphen (session hazy IPA)
- 2022: Gold: L.A.B. Blend Two (Wild Ale), Silver: J.B. You’re Dead to Me (American Brown Ale)
- 2020: Bronze: Richard, Or Is It Dick? (session hazy IPA)
We have about 10 bottles of this vintage in our beer cellar and will be looking to potentially raffle them off during some of our larger community/beer focused events…stay tuned!

This Onondaga County brewery remains high on my list of central New York spots to check out. As my first beer of the fest, I really enjoyed ONCO’s take on a black lager, which is one of my favorite styles. Properly lagered and featuring a beautifully crisp place, it was a nice blend of roast, smoke, and chocolate malt character.
